Our Lent
The 4th-6th Grade Sunday Sunday School class wrote this blog entry using the form of an acrostic poem. This type of poetry uses each letter the title to begin the each line of the poem and the poem usually describes some aspect of the title.
OUR LENT

Using will power
Resurrection School
Learning about Haiti
Easter is coming!
No chocolate for McKenzie
Ten Commandments
Through the STARS Project, students have been learning about La Resurrection School in Haiti and collecting money toward scholarships for students. The reference to the Ten Commandments is for the Decalogue which was used to open the service on the first Sunday in Lent.
